Young Adult Features @ On Fire with Faith Conference

on_fire_with_faith_small_logoYoung adults from across the Diocese of Charleston are registering now for an exciting event which attracts nationally and internationally known keynoters and presenters – On Fire with Faith. The biennial conference will be held on October 2-3 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC. On Fire With Faith begins with prayer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening.  The opening prayer and welcome are followed by the first keynote address by Hector Molina, known as “The Motivangelist” and a social.  A modest continental breakfast is available on Saturday.  Morning prayer begins at 9:15 a.m., followed by the next keynote address by Dr. Carole Eipers.  Three rounds of workshops (one in the morning and two in the afternoon) are interspersed with exhibit time and lunch.  The closing liturgy will be celebrated by Most Reverend Robert Guglielmone, Bishop of Charleston, at 5:00 p.m. Reverend Marcin Zahuta of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Columbia, SC and Rachel Neubauer, Associate Director of Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Charleston, are offering sessions especially targeted to young adults! When you register, select your top 4 sessions – 3 will be assigned based on availability.

Registration is $40. Complete the form and mail in your check today! On Friday, 10/3 the On Fire with Faith Conference was cancelled due to storms resulting from Hurricane Joaquin.
